Use a crankbait on 45˚ mixed or chunk rock banks with wind. The cooler night will drop the water temperature look for the shad to move to the backs of creeks and pitch a finesse jig around wood cover. The football jig bite is improving. Use a pee wee football jig on main lake points look for the fish to be from 6-20 feet deep. Try a spinnerbait around wood cover.

Try a topwater early in the day. With the east wind they fish may not eat the bait. It that is the case throw a finesse jig in the same areas.

Fish the bottom in an east wind. Use a football jig and keep the boat in 25’ of water then make long casts to the shallower water. Pitch a finesse jig or shaky head on channel swing banks.

If it rains hard and runoff flows in to the backs of the creeks throw a spinnerbait into the moving water. Also look for nearby wood cover and pitch a jig or a shallow running crankbait.

If there is no runoff cast a wiggle wart or rockcrawler on channel swing banks towards the back of the creek.

Continue to look for the more stable main lake fish dragging a football or shaky head.
