Classic post front day, could make the fishing tough. Be prepared of large swings in water temperature due to the incoming cooler water. Pitch a finesse jig 45˚ mixed or chunk rock banks with wind. Use a pee wee football jig on main lake points look for the fish to be from 6-20 feet deep. Look for wood cover in the backs of creeks, pockets and cuts where water is still coming into the lake. Use a spinnerbait or shallow running crackbait around the wood cover, especially those pockets that have shad still high in the water column.

Early in the day while cloudy use a topwater, in pockets that have some light stain in the water.

On main lake points with clear water use a football jig and keep the boat in 25’ of water then make long casts to the shallower water. Use a wiggle wart or rockcrawler on channel swing jig 45˚ mixed or chunk rock banks with wind where the water has some stain.

This could be the best day of the weekend to fish. Use a wiggle wart or rockcrawler on channel swing jig 45˚ mixed or chunk rock banks with wind where the water has some stain. Drag a pee wee football jig or shaky head on main lake points. Position the boat in 20-25 feet of water and cast shallow. With the sun to help position look for wood cover in the back of creeks cast a spinnerbait or jig to these areas.
