This will be a tough fishing day, with the east wind. Key on 45˚ mixed banks with wind, it is best where pea gravel and chunk rock mix. Use a jewel pee wee football jig on main lake points look for the fish to be from 5-30 feet deep. Look for schools of shad on the graph and use a drop shot rig and cast into schools of shad using small grubs and jigs.

In river or creek arms key on water 6 feet deep or less using a spinnerbait, or bladed jigs (chatterbait).  Thoroughly fish any wood cover. On main lake points with clear water use a Jewel 5/8 or ¾ oz football jig. These fish are scattered on the gravel points and can be from 5-40 feet deep, look for them to be shallower with the cloud cover.

Fish shallow pitching a jig around wood cover on steep banks. On 45˚ mixed or chunk rock banks with wind use a wiggle wart, rockcrawler. On the same mixed rock banks use a shaky head or finesse jig. In back of creeks with shad cast a spinnerbait or bladed jig (chatterbait) around cover.
