Go to the back of any major creek and look for the flooded bushes in the shallowest water. Try a buzzbait early, a vibrating jig and catch aggressive fish early. After that use a swimbait to catch fish that are still shallow or around docks. The fish on the swimbait can be from 5’-25’ of water.

Pleasant and less humid with brilliant sunshine

Temp: Hi 81˚ Low 62˚

Wind: ENE 5-7 mph

Pitch the bushes with an AJ jig or tube. The fish in the bushes do not seem to be all the way back but in the middle portion of creeks. The fish are aggressive and hot. If you catch one fish there are usually several fish in that immediate area. Don’t hesitate to throw various soft plastic baits.
