Fished around Shell Knob this morning and managed to dodge most of the rain. Stayed primarily on main lake channel swing banks with a jerkbait early. Caught a few bass including four keepers around standing timber on the ends of bluff banks and channel swings. also caught several walleye. The bite slowed so we switched up and went back into Big Creek and threw a Keitech 2.8 around standing timber, managed several shorts but never had a keeper. Went back out the the main lake before we went in and caught three more keeper bass, a couple of shorts and a bunch of short walleye. |
