Today I fished near the dam. Focusing on secondary points right at the mouth of major creek arms. Sitting the boat in 25fow casting toward the side of the point where the wind was blowing on seemed to get the majority of the bites. Had the let the swimbait fall all the way to the bottom and reel extremely slow. They were crusing it, it was a fun bite. Spots and small mouths were showing off today. I did check a few creeks all the way in the back and saw quite a few. I'm thinking I was even seeing some beds getting cleared out. But not positive. These fish were just too skittish for me. Good luck to everyone. Hopefully some bigger ones tomorrow. |
