Kayak fished point 1 this morning. Tried a spook early with no luck, then a couple swim baits. Switched to the football jig, and got 19″ smallie immediately, some shorts after that, and then an 18″ smallie. Worked the entire point for the morning (3mph kayak cruising speed makes it challenging to hit a lot of spots fast lol) All fish were in 7-8 feet of water and catches were all pretty much made before 8 AM. Released keepers to play another day. |
