We fished from sun down to midnight. The night was perfect for fishing with minimal wind and perfect moonlight. Unfortunately, the fish didn't care. We fished many of the river flats with laydowns, caught a few but not like normal. Ended going to a very faithful river point/flat and found a few. They were good ones. We both caught them on Jewel Jolt and football jig. |
Fishing Notes |

I really like the Jewel Jolt for night fishing, its got a good thump to the blade and runs very true. Great for night fishing, early morning, or muddy water! I’m really thinking this rain and cold blast is going to get these fish into a great fall bite. Hold on, keep lines tight! Sean Nicodemus |
