Fishing Notes |

My buddy and I fished the Big Bass Tour out of Long Creek and what a grind!! My buddy fished a couple different glide baits all day and only had a couple strikes all day looking for a big fish to commit. I fished rock crawlers, Pee Wee football jig, A-rig, and swimbaits. I caught one 16″ largemouth on an A-rig on a mainlake bluff type bank with big rock. I also caught a 14″ spotted bass in shallower water in a spawning pocket with a gravel bottom on the A-rig. I switched over to a bps speed shad and caught another spotted bass around 15″ and had one largemouth come off next to the boat that looked to be a smaller keeper both in a spawning pocket with gravel. Very tough day on Table Rock but the fish have had alot of baits thrown at them all weekend |
