...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Missouri, south central Missouri, and
  southwest Missouri, including the following areas, in central
  Missouri, Camden, Hickory, and Pulaski. In south central
  Missouri, Howell and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Barry,
  Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Laclede, Lawrence,
  Ozark, Polk, Stone, Taney, Webster, and Wright.

* From Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning

* The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will move into
  southern Missouri late Monday into Tuesday. With multiple
  bands of showers and thunderstorms expected across the region,
  between 1 and 3 inches of rainfall are expected, with locally
  heavier amounts possible.

* This heavy rainfall could result in localized flash flooding,
  along with the rises on regional creeks, streams and rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
