Mostly sunny
Temp: Hi 89˚ Low 69˚
Wind: SW 4-6 mph
The Jewel Live Spin bite is happening in all parts of the lake. The seem to be 20’-40’ deep. The best way to get bite is to make long casts to the fish. The fish seem to stay more active longer doing this. If fish follow the bait to the boat but do not eat the bait present the bait vertically. Once you find a school of fish stay with them but do not be afraid to search for more schools of fish. In the clear water the Table Rock Secret color seems best, in the green tint of the rivers the white seems to be the best color.

Saturday June 24, 2023

Partly sunny and humid with widely separated thunderstorms
Temp: Hi 91˚ Low 72˚
Wind: SSW 8-23 mph
There is a shallow bite in the river arms using a worm. Key on steeper or 45˚ bank and pitch the worm to the bank. This is a deal where you can go long stretches with no bites then you hit a good section and get 3-4 bites quickly. This is also good around laydowns and on banks where there is ledge rock under the water level. Use heavier line and a 5/16oz weight. A plum worm seems to be the best during the summer months.

Sunday June 25, 2023

Very warm with some clouds.
Temp: Hi 94˚ Low 64˚
Wind: NW 7-12 mph
The small slab spoon around docks is working well right now. There are a couple of key elements to getting bites doing this. Looking for bigger docks and having a solid shade line. The docks need to be about 30’-40’ deep on the deep end and the larger the dock the better. Simply send the spoon into open boat slips and pump it back. The other way is to make long casts down the shade side of the dock and work it back. It does help to locate fish using forward facing sonar. This bite happens fast so once you get them fired up to catch several fish at one location. It is also a timing deal you can check five docks with no bites then the sixth one it goes off. Main lake and clearer water tend to be better for this bite.
