The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. The hotter the day the better for a big crankbait. There are several factors involved with a deep crankbait bite— one is water level and the other is water generation. With the lake being just below pool this ensures the bait can get to the right depth. When water is generated this positions fish and make them active. Head to points and channel swings in the river arms and cast a deep diving crankbait to fish in the 15’-20’ range. Make long casts and keep cranking hard to get strikes. Use baits that have yellow or chartreuse. If you get one bite odds are there are several fish in that area. This is a great way to catch a big fish in the summer.

The small slab spoon around docks is still going strong. Key on bigger docks and have a good shade line. This bite can improve during the day. The fish are 20’-25’ feet deep over 30’-40’. So deeper docks are key. Send the spoon into open boat slips and pump it back. The other way is to make long casts down the shade side of the dock and work it back. If shad are present all the better. This is a bite that happens fast once the school is fired up. This is a timing deal. You can hit the same dock twice in a day and one time wreck them and the other time no bites.

The new Jewel Pee Wee HD is catching fish right now. The better bite doing this is in the river arms but there are some bites on the main lake. The key is long gravel roll offs into the river channel. Use either the 1/2oz or 5/8oz Pee Wee HD for these 15’-30’ depth ranges. Have the boat in 30’ feet of water and cast on the point and drag the bait back. The Jewel Versa Craw trailer is the best in the junior size. It has a larger profile to push more water. If fishing in clearer water, use the Pee Wee size Versa Craw.
