This spinnerbait bite just keeps rolling along. These are shallow fish in less than 5’ of water. They can be found in a couple of specific locations. The first is the channel swings in the creek arms. The second is on steeper banks with some wood cover and larger rocks. The third is shorter stretches of ledges just under the surface. Use smaller blades with a heavier spinnerbait and move the bait quickly. Just under the surface. With the light but steady generation of water this should really position the fish. Wind blowing on the bank is really the only way to get these fish to bite. Use white spinnerbaits.
Saturday November 22, 2025
Cooler with low clouds.
Temp: Hi 58˚ Low 45˚
Wind: NNE 6-12 mph
The Rock Crawler bite seems to be strong across the entire lake, and good quality fish are catchable. Channel swing banks in creek arms that have wind blowing on them. Like the spinnerbait areas with larger rock mixed in make a big difference. The more direct the wind the better but there really needs to be some wind hitting the bank. Fish the Rock Crawler in roughly 8’-15’ of water. This can vary slightly depending on cloud cover and how direct the wind is hitting the bank. Fish the Rock Crawler steady not too fast or too slow just a nice steady retrieve. Green and brown-colored Rock Crawlers seem to work the best.

Wind: SE 6-9 mph
There is deep jig and minnow bite is starting. It changes very fast and day-to-day. Target main lake channel swings and the mouth of larger creeks. To catch these fish find the shad and the fish will be around. Use FFS to find the shad. Use shad-colored bait and whatever size lead head it takes to get to the depth the fish are at quickly. The fish are moving fast. Usually a 1/2oz does what is needed. Do not get stuck in one spot unless the fish continue to bite quickly. Plan on moving to many spots during the day looking for shad.
