Weather Conditions
Friday November 28, 2025

Mostly cloudy.
Temp: Hi 50˚ Low 38˚
Wind: SE 8-21 mph
The football jig bite is a good option, and it still seems to be all over the lake. Focus on main lake points in 10’-20’ of water. These main lake points need to be mostly gravel, but having some larger mixed rock helps to really position the fish. With the steady water generation this should help to keep this fish positioned and active. Use a 5/8oz or 3/4oz Jewel Football jig. Make sure it has plenty of brown and green in the skirt and add a little orange to the trailer.

Saturday November 29, 2025

Periods of rain and a thunderstorm.
Temp: Hi 46˚ Low 23˚
Wind: SSW 13-31 mph
There is still a Rock Crawler and spinnerbait bite but with the water temperatures dropping it seems to be going away. In the larger creek arms target channel swing banks. These fish are from 10’-15’ deep. It can depend on the bank if they prefer the spinnerbait or the crankbait. Large rock seems to be crankbait wood cover seems to be spinnerbait. Plan on covering a lot of water to get bites. Use a brown or green Rock Crawler and a Mouse or white spinnerbait.

Sunday November 30, 2025

Mostly cloudy and colder.
Temp: Hi 32˚ Low 23˚
Wind: NNE 8-18 mph
There is deep jig and minnow bite is turning on quickly. Target main lake channel swings and the mouth of creeks. To catch these fish find the shad and the fish will be around. Use FFS to find the shad. Once you have found shad you will find active fish. These fish are moving quickly and aggressively. Use shad-colored baits and whatever size lead head it takes to get to the depth the fish are at quickly. It seems to be important that minnow size is in the 3”-4” range. Plan on searching throughout the day.
