The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Sunny.
Temp: Hi 73˚ Low 50˚
Wind: W 7-14 mph
The deep bite is strong throughout the lake and the best way to catch fish. Fish are moving fast and covering a lot of water. Focus the search on the larger creek arms to locate the shad. Most of the bait is around the mouth of the creek but this can vary slightly based on if they increase pulling water or wind direction. Once you find the shad you will find the fish. The bait is generally in 40’-60’ of water. It only takes two baits--an ice jig or a jig head and minnow to catch these fish. Depth and fall rate are what determines which works better at any time during the day. The shad are moving fast so the fish are moving fast, stay with the shad. Do not be afraid to go searching for new fish.
Saturday December 27, 2025
Partly sunny.
Temp: Hi 77˚ Low 56˚
Wind: SSW 7-20 mph
The main lake jig bite is still strong. This is due to the steady pull of water so it positions the fish and keeps them active. Wind blowing on or across the points seems to also help but is not needed. The fish are in 20’-30’ of water, but it seems the fish also want a quick drop and deeper water nearby. Look where the point rolls off into the channel. The Jewel 5/8oz football jig in PB&J or brown and purple are the best options. The bite is not aggressive, the bait will either slowly swim away or just feel like a leaf is on the bait.
Sunday December 28, 2025
Cloudy with a couple of showers.
Temp: Hi 61˚ Low 20˚
Wind: WSW 13-32 mph
The A-rig bite is picking up in the river arms. Target creek channel swings with standing timber. Most of the fish are suspended in the tops of the trees in 10’-15’ of water. In many cases you can see fish with FFS but sometimes fish just appear and eat the A-rig. Focus on the channel swings but don’t be afraid to look at other areas with standing timber. Keep the four outer baits smaller and more natural shad colors. For the one in the middle or farthest back use a size larger and either make it lighter or darker in color. Steady retrieve gets the bite.
