Fishing Forecast

The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Weather Conditions
Friday April 10, 2026

Mostly cloudy with a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Temp: Hi 74˚ Low 58˚
Wind: SSW 6-9 mph
The jig head minnow is still a good way to catch fish, even with the spawn starting. There are a lot of fish suspended around timber right now. Most of these fish are larger females staging before they spawn. Look for the next big wave of fish to move up to spawn in about 10 days. Bigger minnows have been getting the bites 5” and 6” in size. In many cases you will see the fish in the timber before you catch it. Use shad-colored baits and add a little bright color around the gills or under the body.

Saturday April 11, 2026

Mostly cloudy and warm with a thunderstorm around.
Temp: Hi 79˚ Low 62˚
Wind: S 8-20 mph
The famous Table Rock tube bite is in full effect. Just start point hopping from gravel point to gravel point. This bite is better when they are pulling water but is not needed to get bites. Drag the tube in 5’-15’ of water. It seems the fish are positioned differently on a cloudy day versus a sunny day. So you just have to hunt around to find the depth they want to be in that day. Puke and green pumpkin are the best color options. These are mostly all smallmouth.

Sunday April 13, 2026

Cloudy not as warm with a thunderstorm possible.
Temp: Hi 69˚ Low 64˚
Wind: SSW 10-22 mph
The first little way of fish moved up quickly this week, but this was not a widespread spawn that is still coming. Target gravel pockets with a Neko rig, Ned rig, split shot rig or a shakey head to get bites. These fish are in 2’-20’ of water. Use as light a weight as possible on whatever way you prefer to fish. The best color is green pumpkin with a little chartreuse. Drag any of these baits on the gravel to get bites, they could be spawn or pre spawn fish. It’s a really great way to get bites right now all over the lake.
