Weather Conditions
Friday June 19, 2026

Sunny to partly cloudy
Temp: Hi 82˚  Low 64˚
Wind: ESE 7-10 mph
The water is about two feet above pool and there is water in the bushes all over the lake. Find bushes that are on points or the ends of bluffs and use a brush hog or beaver style bait in the bushes. Bites do not seem to be coming in long stretches of bushes they seem to be more on the ends or points. Plan on covering a lot of water to get bites.

Saturday June 20, 2026

Humid with cloudiness.
Temp: Hi 79˚  Low 70˚
Wind: SSW 4-9 mph
The brush pile bite is starting to happen. This is due to the water being pulled and the water temperature rising. Target brush piles in 20’-30’ of water with a flutter spoon, big worm or jig. If the fish are on top or to the side of the brush pile the flutter spoon has been working best. If the fish are buried in the brush pile the the worm or jig has been better. Use a 10”-12” plum worm.

Sunday June 21, 2026

Cloudy not as warm with a shower and a heavy thunderstorm.
Temp: Hi 84˚  Low 65˚
Wind: SSW 12-21 mph
The off-shore deep bite has been good. Fish long gravel points or river channel roll offs to get catch these fish. It has been a revolving door of baits depending on the day. Hair jig, flutter spoon, deep crankbait or a drop shot. The crankbait bite is the most fickle but is producing the biggest fish. These fish are generally in 20’-30’ of water.
