The topwater bite keeps rolling along. Target chunk rock banks with gravel mixed banks. Use a buzzbait or plopper style bait. Use dark or bluegill-colored baits. Cover lots of water to get the bites. Stay with program bites can happen at any time of the day.

There is a good night time bite. With the high temperature and sunshine try the night bite. Use a Jewel Jolt spinnerbait and cover lots of water. Target similar banks as the topwater pattern that have gravel and chunk rock. Steady and slow wins the race. The Jewel Jolt is the best nighttime spinnerbait to throw.

The offshore bite has been good and it continues to be good. It is best when the Corp is pulling water. Go to main lake points and target the rock piles, brush piles and roll offs. The important depth is 15’-25’ of water. Football jigs, deep crankbait, flutter spoon, and big worms have been the best baits. It is a day-to-day deal as to what bait is best on any given day. This bite can be a timing deal so don’t be afraid to bounce around and point hop. Use brown and purple jigs, crankbaits with plenty of chartreuse, and plum worms.
