Fishing Forecast

The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Weather Conditions
Friday March 1, 2024

Partly sunny.
Temp: Hi 57˚ Low 38˚
Wind: SSE 7-10 mph
Use a small swimbait around standing timber and brushpiles that are 8’-20’ deep. The more aggressive fish are up in the water column. However there are fish that can be pulled from the bottom to get the swimbait. The more subtle the swimbait the more likely to get the fish to react to it. Plan on moving to many areas to get bites.

Saturday March 2, 2024

Warmer with plenty of sunshine
Temp: Hi 71˚ Low 53˚
Wind: SSE 9-25 mph
The best A-rig bite is very similar to the small swimbait bite in both areas and depth. The A-rig fish are a little deeper and more in brushpile versus the standing timber. Fish main lake points in 10’-20’ of water. Using FFS look for fish in and around the brushpiles. This can be a search around deal until you find the fish. The A-rig is a great way to catch a big fish right now. Use shad-colored baits on the A-rig.

Sunday March 3, 2024

Very warm with plenty of sunshine
Temp: Hi 78˚ Low 55˚
Wind: S 10-30 mph
South wind after several days of warm sun, this will get fish to move up just enough to get them active. The wiggle wart has been a little better than the rock crawler, but this is a personal preference. Focus on the river arms and key on steeper banks with the wind blowing directly on the bank, particularly the channel swing banks. If the water has a stain all the better. These fish have been a little shallower than expected.  This is a good way to catch numbers of fish and the bite should improve as the day progresses. The fish are as shallow as 5’ deep but the key range has been 8’-12’ deep.
