Fishing Forecast

The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Weather Conditions
Friday March 22, 2024

Mostly cloudy.
Temp: Hi 69˚ Low 35˚
Wind: NE 7-22 mph
The wiggle wart/crawler bite is still happening. It does require bouncing around and chasing wind all day, but better fish can be caught. Key in on mixed rock banks that have pockets. The fish are getting to where they are looking at these pockets to spawn. It is important to stay with the bait and keep grinding. Crawfish colors with a little orange seem to be working best also the clear green (phantom) is working as well. These fish are 5’-10’ deep so use the wind to your advantage.

Saturday March 23, 2024

Cooler with increasing amounts of sun.
Temp: Hi 59˚ Low 40˚
Wind: ENE 7-14 mph
Fish are starting to stage around spawning pockets and can be caught in 8’-15’ deep using several bottom bouncing baits. Use a shakey head, Ned Rig, spilt-shot or a Pee Wee Spider jig to get bites. These fish are on mixed rock or gravel points but moving towards the gravel pockets to spawn. Focus on the mixed rock points near gravel pockets. If you come across moss, find an area that does not have moss. There are fish in areas that have moss, but they tend to be off the bottom and higher up in the water column.

Sunday March 24, 2024

Cloudy with a shower in the afternoon
Temp: Hi 61˚ Low 52˚
Wind: SSE 10-29 mph
The A-rig is happening. There are two ways to catch fish on the A-rig right now. One way is to cover lots of water and fish the wind. Just start going down mixed rock banks with the A-rig cast it shallow and slowly reel it back. This is better in water with a slight stain. The other way is to focus on windy flat points. The fish will be in 5’-10’ of water. So it will require counting down the bait a little or targeting fish that are located on forward facing sonar. White seems to be a good color swimbait on the heads that have hooks.
