The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Weather Conditions
Friday April 19, 2024
Mostly cloudy cooler and less humid
Temp: Hi 65˚ Low 47˚
Wind: NE 8-15 mph
The fish are moving into and very near spawning locations. Use a shakey head or Ned rig around gravel pockets and points. The little cool snap should not bother them too much, you might get fewer bites. Use a head heavy enough to keep the bait on the bottom and not get blown around in the wind but not too heavy that it out of place in the shallow water. Use green pumpkin and watermelon-colored plastics. Also select a bulkier bait over a finesse type bait.
Saturday April 20, 2024
Mostly cloudy
Temp: Hi 63˚ Low 42˚
Wind: NE 8-15 mph
With the back-to-back overcast days the fish might roam a bit and floating worm or fluke could really make some things happen. Look for clear water and keep the boat in 10’-15’ of water. Cast the bait parallel to the bank and let it sink a couple of feet. In many cases you will still see the bait in the water. This will draw the fish up either from beds or around cover as they go to nests. Its best to use spinning gear while doing this. Plan on covering lots of water.
Sunday April 21, 2024
Cool with times of clouds and sun
Temp: Hi 59˚ Low 39˚
Wind: N 6-12 mph
Many things begin to converge on this day. The sun comes back, wind dies down and the full moon is near. It should be a good day to sight fish or at least it could be. Maybe the cool weather pushes them off the bed, but it seems unlikely with the water temperatures. Use heavy line and a small white tube on a short drop-shot rig. Other options are small tubes, craws, shad shape baits or even a single tail grub. Look for deeper beds to target bigger fish. Please release the fish immediately after catching so they can continue the spawning process.
