There is a solid topwater bite early and late each day. With the heavy overcast predicted the topwater bite might last all day. It seems the best bait option is a shower blow or a walking the dog type of bait and larger is better than smaller. There is also a popper bite bite happening and it the poppers need to be about 3” in length. With the water up in the bushes again there is also a Buzzbait bite in the rivers. It is specific. It takes water in the bushes with some stain, but it is real and if bigger rock is around all the better.

Cloudy humid and warmer with a thunderstorm around.
Temp: Hi 79˚ Low 63˚
Wind: W 6-12 mph
The fish are moving out deeper each day and the Jewel Pee Wee football jig is showing up. This bite seems to better in the rivers. Find the long gravel points and fish in the 12’-20’ deep range. Have the boat in about 25’ of water. With the slight stain have a bait with good contrast and whatever trailer you use add a little chartreuse to the tail. It does not take much.

Partly sunny with a thunderstorm around
Temp: Hi 84˚ Low 65˚
Wind: SSE 7-16 mph
The drop-shot is coming on fast. There are three places to check, and it seems to be random which one is the area on that day. Bluff ends, docks, and trees. The best place to start is the docks where the fish tend to be out on the end of the dock or near the cables. The second stop should be the bluffs, especially if they are pulling water. Third is the deep trees. These are the most consistent but also the most scattered. The shad shaped baits in shad colors seem to be working the best. Try to find more aggressive fish that come up to the bait.
