Key in on gravel and mixed rock points with a Shakey head and jig. Keep the bait on the bottom by dragging the bait. The key depth is 15’-25’ feet of water. It might be best to keep the boat around 30’ deep and cast shallow from there. Key on these type of points on the main lake or in larger creek arms.

Drop shot main lake trees. These fish seem to be 45’-65’ deep in the creeks. The vertical bite is the best way to catch them in larger numbers. The fish have really shifted, and it seems to be shad colored baits like a shad-shape worm are the best options. The best way to find these fish is to keep moving. Look for areas of trees and just start working your way through the trees using forward facing sonar until you find shad or fish.
Sunday November 26, 2023
A passing morning shower, otherwise, clouds.
Temp: Hi 40˚ Low 24˚
Wind: WNW 8-21 mph
There are more active groups of fish that can be caught on the small swimbait. Look for schools of shad that are roaming near the tops of trees. These can be in the same areas that have deeper drop shot fish. The shad will be 10’-20’ over 40’-50’ of water. Cast directly to these fish they are more active and can be caught quickly. These are fast moving shad, so the fish are moving fast as well. Stay with the fish or move to locate new groups of shad.
