The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

The summer drop-shot bite is not quite a day-to-day deal, but the fish are active in different places over a few days of time. Currently the drop-shot fish seem to be relating to trees best, where last week it was bluff ends. The fish are 20’-30’ deep in and around trees. While this can happen on bluff ends it seems to be better on flats. These fish are positioned on these trees and can be very active when you find the right group. The water depth can be from 40’-80’ it just seems to be where the fish are most comfortable. Plum worm is still working but it seems a shad-shaped worm is getting more bites. It can take a little while to find the fish but once you do you can stay on them for a while.
Saturday August 17, 2024
Partly sunny and humid.
Temp: Hi 92˚ Low 69˚
Wind: SW 6-10 mph
With the sun and heat returning the spoon bite in and around docks is picking back up. It also helps that kids are back in school and fewer people are using their boats and docks. Look for larger docks that are over deeper water. Start with the smaller slab spoon before going to larger flutter spoon. The fish seem to like the slab spoon better or more aggressively chase it versus the flutter spoon. However on the same dock the flutter spoon can catch a larger fish. The slab spoon bite is better early, and the flutter spoon bite is better once the sun is up. Plan on moving to multiple docks to find the one that has the aggressive and active fish.
Sunday August 18, 2024
Mostly sunny and humid.
Temp: Hi 91˚ Low 67˚
Wind: SSE 6-8 mph
In the river arms a Jewel Pee Wee football jig is working on gravel points. Look for points with more gravel than not, this fish seems to want the gravel right now. The fish are right on the bottom in 15’-25’ of water. Plan on moving through multiple points in a day. When you land on the right spot at the right time you will catch plenty of fish. Table Rock Timing deal to the max. It’s almost like a fall situation earlier than normal. Make sure to add either orange or chartreuse to your trailer.
