There is a plopper/buzzbait bite on wood cover. This is an extremely shallow bite and tends to be in the back of larger creek arms and pockets. However it seems to be throughout the lake. It does require a lot of bouncing around during the day. If you just go down a bank the bites will come around wood cover. Plan on moving to many spots throughout the day get the bites but the bite will last all day. There will not be many bites, but they will be better quality fish. Black seems to be the color.

Wind: S 7-15 mph
The Pee Wee football jig bite continues to develop. Fish on mixed rock and gravel points. This bite seems to be better in the river arms but is working on the main lake as well. These fish tend to be 15’-20’ deep and a bit deeper in the clearer water. Use a more natural brown and green colors and a green pumpkin trailer. Be sure to add a little orange or chartreuse to the pinchers. Not much just a little. Scrubbing the bait versus dragging seems to get more bites.

Remaining warm with plenty of sun.
Temp: Hi 87˚ Low 51˚
Wind: NW 7-15 mph
There is a slab spoon bite around docks and wave breaks. These fish are most active early in the day then there is a bit of lull and active again the later in the day once the higher in the sky. The fish are around larger commercial docks and wave break early in the day actively feeding before the sun is too high. Then there is lull mid-morning and by early afternoon once the sun has the fish positioned under the dock or on the shady side they will bite again. If water is being generated in the afternoon it makes the bite better. A white Jewel scuba spoon in shady open boat slips or on the shady side of the docks is where the bites will be. First thing in the morning fish the ends of the docks around the cables.
