The Pee Wee football jig on main lake gravel in 18-25’ is a good option right now. These fish seem to be positioned more around brush and rockpiles so make sure to target those areas. There are not a lot of bites this one until you get dialed in on where they are positioned. If you get a bite but not a second come back to that spot later in the day. Add orange or chartreuse on the pinchers.

There is a shallow bite happening in the back of pockets and creeks. These fish are very shallow, one foot of water or less. Go to the back of pockets and creeks if they have wood all the better. Get the boat in 2’-3’ of water and cast a buzzbait or squarebill to as shallow as possible. Plan to move from spot to spot just keep moving and the bites will keep coming. Usually there is no more than two bites at each stop.

A spoon around docks on these sunny days is producing fish. Target larger docks that create more shade. Start the day at the end of the dock. Once the sun is up, it positions fish either in the stalls of the dock or on the shady side of the dock. When water is being pulled this helps to position the fish better at the end of the docks. A white Jewel scuba spoon seems to be the best color.
