Mostly sunny.

Wind: ESE 7-15 mph
The Damiki rig around schools of shad on the main lake is getting better each day. The fish don’t seem like they are heading to the creeks yet. These main lake fish are roaming and seem nomadic but are catchable once you locate them or the shad. Plan on covering a lot of water on the trolling motor searching for the fish. Once located cast to the fish the targeted fish. The fish will be in water 80’-100’ deep but will only be 5’-20’ deep.
Saturday November 2, 2024
Mostly cloudy and cooler, with a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Temp: Hi 62˚ Low 60˚
Wind: SE 7-17 mph
The Pee Wee football jig on gravel/rock points in 18-25’ is a good option right now. The fish seem to be positioned more on sunny days around brush but on cloudy days they are out roaming. This bite has been improving and if you get a bite on one spot there should be multiple fish to catch. Add orange or chartreuse on the pinchers.
Sunday November 3, 2024
A thunderstorm in the morning, otherwise cloudy.
Temp: Hi 71˚ Low 63˚
Wind: SSE 12-20 mph
There seems to be a solid split-shot bite on gravel. This is generally in the river and creek arms. Keep the boat in about 28’ of water and cast as shallow as possible. The fish seem to be 18’-25’ deep. A green pumpkin baby brush hog with some chartreuse on the tails is the best option. Keep the bait pinned on the bottom and keep moving from spot to spot to keep finding active fish.
