Mostly sunny and humid.
Temp: Hi 92˚ Low 73˚
Wind: SSW 8-23 mph
The offshore bite is starting to pick. Target main lake points in the rivers in 15’-25’ of water. The points that have ledges or steep drops seem to be holding more aggressive fish. The Strike King 5X and 6X in Sexy Shad color have been working best. If that doesn’t work in the same area use a Jewel 5/8oz football jig in PBJ or Brown Purple flash. This bite is best when they are pulling water. If you get one bite on the spot you can usually get a couple then move on to the next spot.

Saturday June 21, 2025

Humid and sunshine.
Temp: Hi 91˚ Low 72˚
Wind: SSW 9-25 mph
With the water level finally getting more stable the flipping bite is getting better but really it is becoming more consistent. Key on steeper banks where you can get your bait to the shoreline. Texas rigged brush hogs and worms have been working and a good back up to them has been a jig. If you get one bite on a bank you will likely get a couple of bites. This is a real hunt and peck deal so plan on moving all day long. Green pumpkin brush hog with chartreuse on the tail or a plum worm. The standard brown and purple jig.

Sunday June 22, 2025

Plenty of sunshine.
Temp: Hi 92˚ Low 71˚
Wind: SSW 8-23 mph
The dock bite continues to be a good option. Focus on larger community docks. These fish are positioned just under the floats, so you have to pay attention to your line. Pinch into any open space you can get your bait to and use a heavy line. A white 5/8oz to 3/4oz slab spoon has been working best. This can be a fun way to catch fish this time of year. If you see fish under the dock but they don’t bite, come back to that dock later. This can be a timing thing.
