The Table Rock Lake Fishing Forecast is designed to help maximize the time you spend on the lake with catching more fish. The fishing forecast is constructed using a mix of historical data, tournament results, weather patterns and general lake conditions. One of the biggest elements is using actual information from recent time on the water. This gives a general snapshot of some of the best ways to catch fish at that current time.

Partly sunny
Temp: Hi 38˚ Low 27˚
Wind: NW 8-21 mph
As the water continues to cool the jerkbait bite is starting to show up. This can be fished in the same areas as the glidebait (see below). However the key difference is the channel swing and specifically the ends of the channel swing. If there is wood cover all the better these fish are really positioned on the wood cover both laydowns and brushpiles. Some pause is needed but not much of a pause, the fish are really attacking the bait. Bone and Table Rock shad are good color choices.
Saturday December 30, 2023
Mostly sunny and warmer
Temp: Hi 51˚ Low 33˚
Wind: WSW 6-15 mph
The glide bait bite is still happening. Focus on larger creeks or river arms on channel banks. If they have standing timber all the better. The can be anywhere along the channel bank, but the fish are keyed in around the standing timber. Use a larger swimbait 6”-10” in shad colors with a splash of bright color such as chartreuse or red seems to be the deal. Do not expect many bites during the day but these fish should be of better quality. Move the bait quickly only a few feet under the surface. Fish the key areas thoroughly but keep looking for new water.
Sunday December 31, 2023
Increasing cloudiness
Temp: Hi 42˚ Low 24˚
Wind: NNW 6-13 mph
The erratic action of a Jewel Scuba spoon and an ice jig seem to really play a role in getting the deep fish to bite. On long gravel points anywhere on the main lake these fish can be found. Not every point has fish so plan on point jumping until you find active fish. These fish can be 45’-75’ on the bottom. These fish on the bottom are hard to spot but they will come up to get the bait as it falls. Once you spot the fish you will have to work the bait to get the fish to bite. In most cases if you get one fish to get active you can stay on the fish for a while catching several fish before needing to move on.
