There is a glide bait bite that is solid and seems to be getting better. Key on main lake transition banks that have timber or brush on them. The transitions banks that go from bluffs to mixed rock quickly seem to be the best ones. Most of the fish come from the tops of the standing timber and are in 5’ or water or less. It also seems to go in spurts. It can be several spots of nothing and then one spot you will catch three quickly. Also you can see several fish come out of the same tree. Use shad-looking glide baits and keep the bait moving.

Sunny.
Temp: Hi 79˚ Low 56˚
Wind: NW 5-10 mph
There is a good Plopper and buzzbait bite from the mid lake to the dam. Focus on transition banks in the first half of the creek arms and larger pockets. These fish are extremely shallow; you can’t fish the bait too shallow. Try to make it where your retrieve is paralleling the shoreline but as close to the bank as possible. Black for both baits seems to be the color of choice.

Mostly sunny.
Temp: Hi 81˚ Low 55˚
Wind: ESE 2-8 mph
Target main lake and secondary points, throughout the lake using a football jig. The fish are in 10’-20’ of water. The points that are gravel with timber and brush seem to be holding more fish. Use a 5/16oz Pee Wee football jig in Hail Mary or PB&J. Keep the bait as compact as possible. Plan on fishing a lot of points during the day to get the bites.
