Mostly sunny.

Wind: W 6-15 mph
The football jig bite continues to shine, and it seems to be good all over the lake. Target main lake and secondary points, from 5’-35’ deep with 10’-20’ seeming to the sweet spot. If there is brush, wood or larger rock mixed in with the gravel, all the better. Use a Jewel 1/2oz or 5/8oz pee wee football jig. PB&J seems to be the best color. Keep the bait as compact as possible. Plan on fishing a lot of points during the day to get the bites. The bite is strange. Some bites are aggressive but most just feel like you are no longer touching the bottom.
Saturday November 1, 2025
Clouds and sun.
Temp: Hi 48˚ Low 34˚
Wind: NNW 6-9 mph
As the water is cooling the glidebait bite keeps getting stronger. Target main lake channel swings with timber. The fish are either right on the bank and very shallow or suspended in the tops of the trees. In any cases you can see them with FFS. Keep the bait moving and don’t slow it down. Bite usually come in bunches. More to many spots throughout the day. Use shad colored bait with a little red or yellow on them.
Sunday November 2, 2025
Partly sunny.
Temp: Hi 57˚ Low 39˚
Wind: ENE 4-10 mph
There is a fun squarebill or spinnerbait bite in the river arms. This bite can happen on the main lake or in the larger creek arms. Focus on channel swing banks and its likely if you get one bite you can get a couple of bites. These fish are in 1’-10’ of water. Windy and overcast conditions make the bite better. Don’t get caught just fishing down a bank keep moving to new areas to keep getting bites. Fish a lot of spots during the day.
