3/6/21 Decent day (morning bite)

03/06/2021

Mid Lake Mill Creek to Joe Bald Fished from 25-40' depth Fished timer and chunk rock banks Fish where all caught in the morning hours between 7 and noon on A-rigs. After noon fishing slowed down to zip. Sitting in 25' cast into 5-10' and hooking all bass in the 15-20 foot range, except the 4 lb smallmouth which was caught at around 2:30 on a chatterbait around a dock in 20' of water. Had several more that would short strike the A-rig in the morning, but after the sun was fully up, they stopped biting. Saw a lot of area where there dead shad here and there, but nowhere did we see a lot of them. The 3 lb smallie was caught on an A-rig and it had a throat full of shad.
