I went out towards the lower end (long creek) to scout some spots for the upcoming AiA. It was packed with boats so I headed back up to the dam area and hit little pockets along the main channel. Every pocket I went into had multiple beds with a male on it all in the very back. One pocket had well over 20 beds in the back. Did not see any females. I got a few to bite a baby J jig from Omega Custom tackle but I didn’t set the hook on them. At the last pocket I went in I went to a secondary point and hopped a Texas rigged pitboss in green pumpkin along the point and immediately got bit. Pic below. Moss was everywhere. Water clarity was 10+ feet.
